Kefir itself is something special. Its benefits are wide-ranging and well documented. Naturally rich in a complex and highly diverse community of lactic acid bacteria and yeasts, many believe kefir can help support digestion and overall health by positively influencing the gut.
Even a small daily serving, around 150ml, can contribute to a healthier gut microbiome and the many interconnected aspects of our body, health and mental wellbeing that rely on it.
Our kefir goes a step further.
We make it using our own whole milk, with a focus on quality, freshness and care at every stage. It’s produced on-site at our family farm in Gloucestershire using unhomogenised, award-winning milk from our own herd of cows, or “the ladies” as we call them. We care for and milk them ourselves, alongside their calves, every single day.
That means we know exactly what goes into every drop, and the care that comes with it.
